Greater Personal Freedoms
Life in rehab doesn’t have to be uncomfortable. At The Lukens Institute®, we combine the hard work of recovery with the pleasurable relaxation of leisure time.
Our clients often start their day with a morning jog, stroll or swim before the aroma of coffee signals a delicious, healthy breakfast. In the evening, guests may gather for a chef-prepared dinner al fresco under the magnificent banyan tree, or dip into the spa hot tub under the stars.
After working hard on core life issues in rehab, our clients enjoy some downtime to relax and pursue interests, quietly reading in the study, going for a jog, stroll, or swim.
Because we know our clients have busy lives, they are free to bring their own cell phones, laptops, and tablets. After the day’s rehab session or during “downtime,” guests are free to call the office, check email, connect with home, or conduct business. While participation in the program is paramount, we know our clients have busy lives and want to stay connected.
It is important to note, however, that the greater personal freedoms afforded at The Lukens Institute® require clients to obey house rules.
The Partial Hospitalization Program at The Lukens Institute is a day treatment program. All housing is located separate and apart from our treatment facilities.
